When a steel bar is quench and tempered, it increases the strength and durability of the steel. Our product is manufactured through the induction heat-treating process on two state-of-the-art manufacturing lines in Norfolk, Nebraska. We have 50,000 tons of quench and temper capacity annually, making King Steel one of the largest heat-treated steel bar suppliers in the nation.
Our induction lines have the ability to quench and temper, normalize, and stress relieve. Steel products can be provided at different hardness and strength levels depending on our customers’ specific requirements.
