We carry raw steel in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and offer in-house processing capabilities, including quenching and tempering, machining, and descaling to meet any industry specification requirements.
When hot-wrought alloy steel bar must meet A434 BD requirements, we quench and temper them through an induction process that allows us to hold tight hardness tolerances. Products are then tested in-house to ensure they meet BD strength level requirements. We’re capable of quenching and tempering steel bar with diameters between 3/4″ and 4″ and lengths from 20′ to 60′.

Please note that there are three strength levels under ASTM A434; these specifications only cover the BD level. We perform comprehensive testing in-house to ensure we meet specification requirements and can provide a certification and report of testing upon request.
