Any hot-wrought or cold-finished quenched and tempered alloy steel bars purchased from King Steel can be made to ASTM A434 Class BC strength specifications. We use electromagnetic induction lines to heat treat steel bar, and offer steel rounds in a variety of conditions, including hot-wrought, hot-wrought descaled, cold-drawn, cold-drawn descaled, ground, and polished, turned and polished, and turned, ground, and polished.
All ASTM A434 steel bars receive in-house tension tests after quenching and final quality control tests to ensure proper grain size and strength requirements are met. If needed, a Certification and Report of Testing can be provided.
