The aircraft-quality designation guarantees AMS 6382 certification, full heat-lot traceability, and tighter impurity limits. Aircraft-quality material includes mill certification of magnetic particle cleanliness per AMS 2301. Eddy current testing is performed in-house to detect surface defects.
